They fall so graceful
slowly changing color
A signal of passing time
With each moment it fades
The winds of goddess crying
carrying the legacy to live on
Strong allied color's
bold with a story to share
remember their past written
deep inside the pores
with each leaf that falls
a tree takes its shape
prepare for its replacement
Our body and mind coexist
striving to put together
just what we left behind
together they take our hand
guiding us through the future
the wind takes its course
racing through the track
tomorrow paths the way
elders to each they poses
taking on the legacy
passing it forward
help for guidance
the 7th generation
a leaf so golden brown
the 6th has faded
leaving the wind to carry on
yet another passing
as winter takes its form
guide us through these broken times
together we stand
with the wind to carry us through
our delicate bodies slowly moving
